Home Renovation Project: Stairway

BEFORE

AFTER

Being partial to Mediterranean design, this 70s traditional themed home was catapulted into modern times by removing the carpet and wood balusters and replacing them with dark stained wood dowels, saltillo tile on the risers, adding iron balusters, and staining the rails.

Cozy and Contemporary

What's not to love about this space? I love EVERY detail in this room: the neutral palette, with just the right amount of black to accent, the cream white sofa & chairs with the nail head detail, and I absolutely adore the zebra print ottoman! Perfect score!!

Home Renovation Project: Front Entryway

Nothing says "welcome home" more than an well designed front entry or foyer.  The entry of your home is a great place to express your style and invite others into your space.  This Mediterranean, eclectic entry was designed with beautiful earth tones, with the abstract painting being the focal point.  No detail was left undone, right down to the brass cover plates, and a cute little basket so loved ones never have to lose their keys again (smile).

A Tuscan Outdoor Living Space

Mediterranean and Tuscan theme spaces are by far my favorite of all styles!  This romantic outdoor living space draws you in with perfect details: stucco framed walls that encompass the nook, neutral color scheme, stone tile flooring and wall around the fireplace, all unite to create a cozy, quaint space you'll want to retreat to time and again! A perfect score! 💯

A Plush Master Bedroom Retreat

I adore this tufted bed, mirror, and night stand! To spruce it up even more, add fluffy, feathery white bedding, an array of patterned throw pillows, and a dramatic but neutral paint color on the walls! #interiordesign #designeye #tuftedbeds #designdaily

Turning Dreams Into Reality

Going through our home renovation project has been a major undertaking to say the least, but it was then, I truly discovered my true passion, interior decorating.  Though I have always been drawn to and inspired by interior design and real estate via HGTV, DIY, and browsing countless magazines, it became abundantly clear that I had found my niche, while remodeling our 70s conventional home.

Décor and design is where I find complete joy and satisfaction!  It is where I thrive under the sun.  I spend countless hours discussing design ideas, viewing photo after photo, studying various styles, and designers at the top of their game to perfect my craft.

Design is a gift of expression, a glimpse of one's point of view.  I invite and welcome you, and hope you enjoy the journey!

Home Renovation Project: Stuck in the 70s

The 70s called and said they needed their style back. This conventional home built in 1974 was updated by removing an outdated brass fireplace screen and adding Mediteranean decor. For added flair, pick up a Mediteranean bronzed fireplace screen to complete the look. Who says you have to break the bank to have designer style? #designtips
